Association News
Association Membership and Dues
Dues are $15 per member annually, due in January*. Checks may be made payable to the USSPD Association and sent to the USS PD Association Treasurer, 37 Sherry Avenue, Bristol, RI 02809-2544. Spouses and others may become associate members for the same $15 fee. All members may vote and be involved in decision making for the association.
A financial report is available at the September reunion, or may be requested from the treasurer after that meeting. All funds are deposited in a checking account held by Bank of America. Funds are used for printing and mailing newsletters and/or other communications to members and associate members who need paper copies; food/beverage for the Wednesday night reunion welcome buffet; reunion event deposits (refundable after the reunion; other discretionary items (such as memorial donations) as approved by the Association President.
*For those who included their dues in the September 2023 reunion costs, dues carry forward for 2024. Dues will no longer be collected in conjunction with the reunion registration payment.

John Nicolosi, President
1994 - 2015
John Nicolosi was the inspiration behind our USSPD association. He began the association with it first meeting 30 years ago in Williamsburg, VA. John Nicolosi served on the Point Defiance as an MM3 from 1965-1969. His leadership is missed as much as his friendship!
